Figtree Park Grand Re-opening

The Mayor and Councillors invite you to explore the newly upgraded Figtree Park as they cut the ribbon at the official grand re-opening on Saturday June 15 at 10.30am. 

There will be free face painting, giant bubbles, temporary tattoos, engaging displays, lawn games and play parachute and live music by King Olav, plus more.

There will also be special offers from local shops in the Hunters Hill Village as part of the event for visitors to enjoy, including:

Highlights of the Figtree Park revitalisation project include:

  • a new playground with climbing structures, nest swing, spring rider, outdoor musical percussion, talking tubes, a rope ladder leading to an elevated platform and beautiful garden beds 
  • a new plaza space with an entrance on Gladesville Road and an inviting pathway leading to the playground
  • improved lighting, drainage, seating, accessibile footpath and amenity

The works were proudly funded by the NSW Government. Parliamentary Secretary for Planning and Public Spaces, Stephen Bali will be attending the event on behalf of Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Paul Scully.
