Plant identification workshop - Free

Get to know your local plants at our free interactive workshop.

Date: Sunday 24 March  

Time: 10am to 1pm

Location: Weil Park Scout and Community Hall at Woolwich Road, Woolwich, with fieldwork undertaken in adjoining Kellys Bush.

This workshop, presented by Geoff Bakewell, will be an introduction to plant identification consisting of some basic plant structures (leaves, flowers, forms) followed by a guided use of plant keys such as Field Guide to the Native Plants of Sydney (Robinson L), Native Plants of the Sydney District (Fairley A, Moore P) and Burnam Burnam's Wildthings.
