Time to Shine in the Park 2025

Seniors from Hunters Hill and Lane Cove local government areas are welcomed to join us for a free morning of refreshments and entertainment at our Time to Shine in the Park event.

Enjoy a cup of tea or barista-made coffee along with a scone. Tune into live music featuring the NSW Police Band, see Chinese fan dancers, join in on our Come and Try activities and chat to local service providers.

The event will be held on Wednesday 12 March from 10am to 1pm at Blackman Park, Lloyd Rees Drive, Lane Cove West (near the Scout Hall).

10am - 10:45am - Tai Chi

Places are limited and bookings are required.

There is also transportation available upon request to attendees.

Transportation is free for clients of Sydney Community Services (book directly with them) or a transportation fee of $15 will apply per person (book directly through Stryder via email: info@stryder.org.au or phone: 9816 5000).

There is plenty of parking available and the nearest bus stop is a 12 minute walk away from the park.

This Seniors Festival event is jointly presented by Hunter's Hill CouncilLane Cove Council, Stryder, Sydney Community Services, and Pathways Longueville and Rotary Club of Lane Cove. Additional assistance from Rotary Club of Hunters Hill and Probas.
