Clr Sanderson was elected to Council in 2017 and served as Deputy Mayor from 2019 -2021. Clr Sanderson was re-elected to Council in 2021.
Clr Sanderson’s priorities include working hard to protect the character and heritage of Hunters Hill, the environment, bushland and parks and promoting a sustainable future.
As a member of Council’s Movement and Transport Advisory Committee, Conservation Advisory Panel and Bushland Management Committee (BMAC), Clr Sanderson is well placed to represent and serve the community.
Clr Sanderson has been a strong advocate for environmental sustainability and preservation of the character and heritage of Hunters Hill. He also works closely with the local community to support projects and programs that encourage involvement of residents in disadvantaged and socially isolated situations. Clr Sanderson understands the importance of building strong relationships to ensure collaborative engagement.
