Clr Prieston was elected to Council at the 2021 local government elections.
Being born and raised in Hunters Hill has enabled Clr Prieston to thoroughly understand the needs of the local community.
Working in the legal profession provides Clr Prieston with expertise to assist Council in ensuring procedural correctness, in addition to providing advice on policy and engagement frameworks. She is Chair of the Events and Cultural Committee and promotes community events and experiences that provide opportunities for inclusiveness and social experience.
Clr Prieston has an active interest in encouraging participation in sport and recreation, in addition to supporting and promoting outdoor events. Clr Prieston fosters the promotion of inter-generational involvement in community life and a sense of belonging to place and community.
