Clr Krassoi was elected Deputy Mayor in 2021 and has served as a Councillor since 2017.

Focussing on climate resilience through economic, social and environmental sustainability, Clr Krassoi is passionate about community engagement as well as partnerships for safer, people-centred planning and place design.

Clr Krassoi is an advocate for Universal Design Principals and has been instrumental in ensuring that Council’s public spaces and playgrounds are inclusive, enabling ‘everyone’ to play. Her community advocacy is evident in the work she undertakes as part of her participation in the Movement and Transport Advisory Committee, Cultural and Events Advisory Committee and the Art Advisory Committee.

Clr Krassoi is the Chair of Council’s Sustainability Advisory Committee and a sustainability advocate who encourages Council to lead by example in reducing waste, preserving resources and implementing renewable energy frameworks. She encourages Council to be environmentally responsible and commit to eco-friendly behaviours.
