Anzac Day road closure

Ryde Police Area Command will enact a rolling road closure from approximately 6.40pm along Alexandra Street between Ferry Street and Stanley Road on Wednesday 23 April for the Hunters Hill Combined ANZAC Memorial March and Service.

Access to Alexandra Street from the adjacent side streets (Ellesmere Avenue, Ernest Street and Ady Street) will also be affected whilst the march is in progress.

The ANZAC March will step off from outside the RSL Memorial Hall (56 Alexandra Street) at 6.45pm and arrive at Hunters Hill Town Hall (22 Alexandra Street) at around 7pm.

D'Aram Street will also be closed from the Hunter's Hill Council Car Park to Alexandra Street. No public parking will be available in the Council Car Park or directly outside the Town Hall.

Roads will open up after the March once it is safe to do so.

This is a temporary disruption to normal traffic patterns.
