Get ready to unleash your inner art critic as we open the doors to the 2024 Hunters Hill Art Exhibition at Town Hall from this Thursday 24 October.

Showcasing more than 280 high-quality artworks, enjoy the dazzling array of creativity on display from artists all across Australia. 

The Buyers Preview will kick off the season on Thursday 24 October 2024 at the Hunters Hill Town Hall at 7pm. Canapés and drinks will be served on the Opening Night on Friday 25 October from 6pm to 8pm.

If you can’t make it on those nights, the General Exhibition will run from Saturday 26 October to Sunday 3 November, from 10am to 4pm.

Tickets are now on sale on Council’s website or they can be purchased at the door on the day of your visit.

This year's Exhibition has eight award categories including:

• Hunters Hill Art Prize  – $8,000
• McGrath Hunters Hill Regional Art Prize – $5,000
• Hunters Hill Hotel Sculpture Prize – $2,000
• Water Colour Prize – $2,000
• Smaller Works Prize – $1,000
• Nora Heysen Award – $500
• People’s Choice Award- $1,000
• Kids’ Choice Prize – $500 

The winners will be announced on opening night.

Hunter's Hill Council Mayor Zac Miles said he was looking forward to welcoming the community in to see this exquisite display.

"This prestigious exhibition has been running for 68 years, always attracting a large number of entries," Cr Miles said.

"Council is proud to host cultural events in our community. I invite you all to attend this time honoured tradition in Hunters Hill where you will also be supporting local artists."
