Notification: Bridge maintenance works

Council has been informed that there will be temporary traffic changes while the NSW Government carries out bridge maintenance works on Tarban Creek Bridge on Burns Bay Road, between Hunters Hill and Huntleys Point.

Work is expected to run for six-day shifts and six-night shifts between Monday 20 May and Sunday 30 June, weather and site conditions permitting.

Day work hours will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, while night work hours will run between 8pm and 5am on Sunday night to Friday morning. Work will not occur on Saturday night or public holidays.

The bridge will remain open, with one or more lanes operating at all times. Traffic guidance will be in place.

Work includes routine maintenance of the bridge structure to improve safety for motorists and to extend the life of the bridge.
