Notification: Bridge maintenance works

Council has been informed that there will be temporary traffic changes while the NSW Government carries out bridge maintenance works on Tarban Creek Bridge on Burns Bay Road, between Hunters Hill and Huntleys Point.

Work is expected to continue for a further ten shifts until Friday 9 August, weather and site conditions permitting.

Work hours will take place between 8pm and 5am on Sunday night to Friday morning. Work will not occur on Saturday night or public holidays.

The bridge will remain open, with traffic guidance in place.

Work includes routine maintenance of the bridge structure to improve safety for motorists and to extend the life of the bridge.
