Parking Sensors are now LIVE
Published on 29 March 2023
Parking for motorists looking for accessibility spaces has just become easier in Hunters Hill with sensors now live on the Park'nPay app.
The parking sensors were recently installed in mobility spaces across the local government area as part of a NSW Department of Customer Service accessible parking trial.
Accessible spaces in Hunters Hill and other local government areas participating in the trial are now easily identifiable via the Park’nPay app, along with the real-time availability and location of the spaces, making it easier for motorists to find parking spaces that best suits their needs.
The app also sends notifications when the parking space is due to expire or about to switch over to a ‘No stopping’ zone.
This new technology aligns with the aims of Council's Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022-2026 which is to to make Hunters Hill Municipality a more accessible and inclusive community for all.
Accessible parking spaces are identified on the app by a wheelchair logo. A red ring denotes that the space is occupied and a green ring denotes that the space is available to use.
The Park’npay APP is compatible with iOS and Android devices and free to download from all App stores.
