Public Notice: Traffic restrictions

Property and Development NSW (PDNSW) have informed Council that the final stage of remediation work at 7-11 Nelson Parade, Hunters Hill will take place on Tuesday 15 October and Wednesday 16 October 2024 to dismantle the tower crane on the site, if the weather permits. 

PDNSW has advised that there will be increased parking restrictions from 5pm on Friday 11 October 2024 along the northern and eastern side of Prince Edward Parade, including ‘No Parking’ from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

PDNSW has requested residents ensure their vehicles are not parked along Nelson Parade from 7am on these days, to allow semi-trailers to safely remove the crane from the site.

There will also be road closures and traffic disruptions throughout Tuesday 15 October and Wednesday 16 October 2024 while the crane is removed. Council has been informed that roads will be temporarily blocked for up to 30-minute periods while each crane section is loaded onto trucks. Vehicle access along Nelson Parade will be permitted in between truck loads. PDNSW traffic controllers will manage vehicle and pedestrian movements.
