Our Council is offering paid learning opportunities for apprentices, trainees and cadets to kickstart their careers in local government.

While continuing their studies, trainees are invited to join our dynamic team for hands-on work experience under the mentorship of our skilled and professional staff. 

Current roles available

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for enthusiastic candidates to fill the following positions:

  • Finance Trainee
  • Events Assistant

The program is funded by the NSW Government as part of the A fresh start for local government apprentices, trainees and cadets program to increase the employment of apprentices, trainees and cadets in local government.
