Riverglade Bushcare Group
Riverglade Reserve hosts a splendid wetland habitat for a number of native wildlife species; featuring extensive mangrove and remnant bushland ecosystems. In addition to the aesthetic beauty, the reserve plays a key role in forming a nature corridor, through which native species can travel more safely between the marine and inland environments.
The Riverglade Bushcare Group work spiritedly towards fostering and maintaining the balance of nature; tackling the ever-present encroaching weeds and replacing them with bio-supportive species. Riverglade is a large area and new volunteers are always very welcome! By joining this group, you will be able to acquire new skills or sharpen your existing talents.
This Bushcare group meets on the second Saturday of each month, at 8.00am.
