Our Council has partnered with Good for the Hood to offer our residents free access to a series of sustainable living workshops as part of the @HOME program.

The @HOME online portal provides residents with the opportunity to participate in free webinars, access valuable information and resources, and engage in live Q&A sessions with sustainability experts. It's a great chance to get inspired and implement sustainable practices at your own pace and within your own home.

The online workshops cover a wide range of topics, including composting, energy conservation, resourceful living, sustainable transportation, mindful eating, self-care, gardening, community involvement, and water conservation.

Upcoming events include:

  • Monday 3 February, from 12pm: Thrive in 2025
  • Wednesday 12 February, from 6pm: A new twist on chilli crisp: Watch us cook up a storm
  • Monday 24 February, from 6pm: Fix My...Grocery Bill! Help me find simple storage solutions to keep food out of the bin
  • Wednesday 5 March, from 12pm: Bokashi Basics: A Simple Guide to Composting in Small Spaces
