Our Council has partnered with Good for the Hood to offer our residents free access to a series of sustainable living workshops as part of the @HOME program.

The @HOME online portal provides residents with the opportunity to participate in free webinars, access valuable information and resources, and engage in live Q&A sessions with sustainability experts. It's a great chance to get inspired and implement sustainable practices at your own pace and within your own home.

The online workshops cover a wide range of topics, including composting, energy conservation, resourceful living, sustainable transportation, mindful eating, self-care, gardening, community involvement, and water conservation.

Upcoming events include:

  • Tuesday 15 October, from 12pm: On yer bike: Creating cycling confidence
  • Tuesday 22 October, from 6pm: How smart is your shower? Water saving for the time poor
  • Monday 28 October, from 12pm: Planting for pollinators
  • Wednesday 13 November, from 12pm Tips for building community networks
