Joubert Street Reserve

This reserve is not technically owned by Hunter's Hill Council, however, all are welcome to visit and enjoy. You can get access to the waterfront via the northern pathway, or you can divert north east and make your way underneath the Figtree Bridge.

Photo shows the Joubert St Sundial. The sundial is situated to the left of the frame, as is well shaded by nearby trees (situated behind the camera operator). To the centre/right of frame is a small sandstone retaining wall that guards the steps that lead down from Joubert Street. The sky is entirely clear and bright. There is heavy tree coverage situated in the background, set down from the sundial platform.

Photo is taken from a high angle, and shows the Lane Cove River running alongside Joubert St reserve. The sky is bright and entirely clear. The water occupies the left of the frame and appears to be calm and is reflecting lots of sunlight. The centre of the frame features the grass area that is nested between the water and the tree thicket. The right of the frame is of the very dense treeline. The background barely shows the Figtree Bridge.
